Some users complained that their WiFi performance has been inconsistent, with droppage or low bandwidth affecting regular use. The most effective solution for this thus far has been to install the latest driver from Intel. Beyond that, some users running the latest driver (16.6 at the time of reporting the issue, 17.0 at the time of this edit) still experienced issues and found that updating their router/access point firmware resolved their issues. A few others continued to experience issues either because they had an old router for which firmware updates were no longer being developed or were using a wireless router/access point that they did not control and that they therefore could not update (e.g. college campus WiFi). It's possible that newer driver releases since those complaints were made have mitigated those issues.
