Distortion When Opening or Closing[]
A handful of users have reported that the action of opening or closing the lid generates enough unequal pressure across the LCD that ripples appear at pressure points. This does not appear to be normal for the XPS 15 and is cause for contacting Dell customer support, as it would seem that either the display was improperly installed or there has been an internal structural failure. Either way, it makes sense to have it professionally addressed.
